Teachers are leaders. They take responsibility for their students' learning. They work against all odds to see to it that their students are globally competitive and prepared for work in the 21st Century.
Teachers are learners. They are expected to participate in professional development in order to grow to maintain a state license.
By now you should have guessed it. I am a teacher. I am taking an Internet class for recertification. I find that it is becoming increasingly difficult to balance my personal life, teach a combination class, and learn new skills via an Internet class.
I am advocate for children and active in the community. Learning how to blog is going to be a useful skill.
However, I can't wait for Spring Break!
